                             "CANDIDATES"
RCIA is a process which assists adults in coming to a mature and free
decision to become full members of the Church. The process begins with a
time of inquiry in the Fall which includes faith sharing questions answered,
new questions formed and time for reflection and discernment which can lead
to "Baptism or Full Communion."

The RCIA takes the distinctive history and spiritual needs of each person
into account, differentiating between the baptized and the unbaptized, the
cathechized and the uncathechized. The needs of mature, practicing Christians
from other faith traditions are considered on a individual basis.
